Here at Don Steed Elementary our teachers and all staff work hard to provide rigorous and meaningful instruction to our students daily in order to help grow the whole child, so that all students can become productive future ready learners. Our students continue to grow in this area by working on how to be better problem solvers, analyzers, and how to become active members in their classrooms, as well as their communities.

As a result of this desire to learn, we have continued to show academic progress. We continue to strive to instill in each child an even greater desire to learn, intending to develop our students into productive, caring members of our society and be competitive in the 21st-century workforce.

The Raeford-Hoke Museum is a historical facility displaying artifacts, historical information and valuable displays about Raeford and Hoke County. Tours of 10 or more can be arranged by calling 910-875-2279. It is open to all cultures during regular business hours.
